2019 TC America Calendar

TC America Powered by Skip Barber Racing School is North America's premier touring car championship, providing a professional platform for factory-built, production-based race cars. Sanctioned by the SRO Motorsports Group, the series is designed as a ladder for touring car drivers, moving from accessible entry-level machinery to high-performance racers. The championship is currently centered around two primary classes: TCX, the flagship category featuring high-performance vehicles like the BMW M2 CS Racing and Acura Integra Type S, and TC, which utilizes cars such as the Honda Civic Si and Hyundai Elantra N. The series features a "sprint" format consisting of two 40-minute races per weekend with no driver changes, emphasizing raw speed and individual driver racecraft. Competing on legendary North American circuits like Sonoma, Sebring, and Indianapolis, TC America serves as a vital proving ground for manufacturers and a springboard for drivers looking to advance into GT racing.
