2027 MotoGP Calendar

The FIM MotoGP World Championship is the pinnacle of motorcycle road racing, featuring the world's fastest riders competing on bespoke, 1000cc four-cylinder prototype machines that are not available for purchase or road use. Reaching speeds in excess of 225 mph (360 kph), these bikes represent the cutting edge of two-wheeled technology, utilizing sophisticated aerodynamics, carbon fiber brakes, and advanced electronic systems. The championship schedule features a global tour of diverse circuits, with a high-intensity weekend format that includes a "Tissot Sprint" on Saturdays (worth half points) and a full-length Grand Prix on Sundays. Governed by a "Concession" system designed to maintain competitive balance between manufacturers like Ducati, KTM, Aprilia, Yamaha, and Honda, the series is renowned for its aggressive overtaking, elbow-dragging lean angles, and the prestigious quest for the Riders', Constructors', and Teams' World Titles.
