2024 Motocross World Championship Calendar
The FIM Motocross World Championship (MXGP) is the elite global series for off-road motorcycle racing, featuring the world’s most talented riders competing on demanding natural terrain circuits. The championship is divided into two primary classes: the premier MXGP category for 450cc four-stroke machines and the MX2 class, which serves as a high-stakes development ground for riders under the age of 23 on 250cc bikes. Each Grand Prix event consists of two 30-minute-plus-two-lap "motos," where points are awarded based on finishing positions to determine the overall winner. Renowned for its grueling physical demands, spectacular jumps, and technical deep-sand or hard-pack tracks across Europe, South America, and Asia, MXGP remains the ultimate benchmark for motocross excellence, culminating annually in the prestigious Motocross of Nations (MXoN) team event.
