2019 Moto3 Calendar
Moto3 is the entry-level class of the FIM MotoGP World Championship, acting as the starting point for the world's most talented young riders on the road to the premier category. The series is defined by lightweight, agile machinery powered by 250cc single-cylinder four-stroke engines, with manufacturers like KTM, Honda, GasGas, and Husqvarna competing under strict technical regulations to keep costs low and performance balanced. Because the bikes are light and carry immense corner speed, Moto3 is famous for producing the most chaotic and thrilling racing in the paddock, often featuring "trains" of a dozen or more riders battling for the lead until the final corner. With a minimum age requirement of 18 (with exceptions for junior champions), the class serves as a high-pressure academy where riders must master the art of slipstreaming, tactical positioning, and ruthless close-quarters combat.
