2027 Moto2 Calendar

Moto2 is the intermediate class of the FIM MotoGP World Championship, serving as the final proving ground for riders before they reach the premier MotoGP category. Known for its intense parity and ultra-close racing, the series follows a "one-make" engine philosophy, currently utilizing 765cc triple-cylinder engines developed by Triumph, which produce a distinctive sound and high torque. While the engines are identical for all competitors, teams have the freedom to choose their chassis from specialized constructors such as Kalex or Boscoscuro, allowing for a unique technical battle between manufacturers. With no electronic rider aids like traction control Moto2 emphasizes pure rider skill, tire management, and braking precision, making it a vital platform for scouts to identify the most talented future stars of the sport.
