The Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe is the continent's flagship championship for GT3-spec machinery, recognized for its massive grids and high level of manufacturer involvement from brands like Ferrari, BMW, Mercedes-AMG, and Porsche. Organized by the SRO Motorsports Group, the season is split evenly between the Sprint Cup, featuring intense one-hour double-header races with two drivers per car, and the Endurance Cup, highlighted by the prestigious 24 Hours of Spa and races ranging from three to six hours with three-driver lineups. The series utilizes a sophisticated Balance of Performance (BoP) system to ensure parity between diverse engine configurations and is categorized into Pro, Gold, Silver, and Bronze classes based on FIA driver ratings. This structure allows elite professional factory drivers to compete for overall glory while providing a highly competitive platform for ambitious amateurs and rising talents, all while contributing to a global manufacturer's title that spans similar championships in America, Asia, and Australia.
