2023 Formula 2 Calendar
FIA Formula 2 (F2) is the ultimate feeder series to Formula 1, serving as the final and most critical step on the global "Road to F1" ladder. Designed to showcase driver talent over technical spending, the championship utilizes a strictly regulated "one-make" philosophy, where every team competes with identical Dallara chassis, turbocharged Mecachrome V6 engines, and Pirelli tires. This technical parity ensures that success is determined by the skill of the drivers and the strategic execution of the teams. The series follows the Formula 1 calendar at most European and select international rounds, featuring a high-pressure weekend format that includes a reverse-grid Sprint Race and a longer Feature Race with a mandatory pit stop. As the primary proving ground for the next generation of superstars, F2 is renowned for its volatile, unpredictable racing and its history of graduating champions directly into the world's most elite racing seats.
